Thank you, Southwest Florida — we’ve been voted Best of Cape Coral (again!) and the Best of Naples.
Grace Community School has been Southwest Florida’s leader in early childhood education since our first location opened in 1986.
Is Grace Community School right for your child?
Most advice about choosing the best daycare center focuses on credentials, accreditation, and fancy toys. These things are not enough! In the real world, results are king. Education is crucial, particularly in the subjects of reading and mathematics. Grace Community School students learn to read as preschoolers, something unheard of in other centers. Grace Community School preschool students are literate, and our kindergarten students graduate reading multiple grade levels ahead of their public school counterparts.
Our phonics program, along with our math instruction, makes a tremendous difference in the lives of children. Reading and math instruction at a young age is vital to success even much later in life.
Some things, like a great education, are too good to keep to yourself! Referring a family to Grace Community School is a tremendous way to do yourself and someone else a favor. Let your associates know that along with our low introductory rates and no registration fee, there is no better time to get on board with Grace Community School. And you can earn $100 for referring a student to our school!
It has been our privilege here at Grace Community School to serve the Southwest Florida community for more than thirty years. Again, THANK YOU for the opportunity to serve the Southwest Florida community.

One of the best parts about the summer is the fun theme weeks we do. Every week has its own fun theme like Pirate Week, Hawaii Week, Carnival Week, and Super Hero Week. We’re glad you asked! While you can “settle” on many things, you don’t want to settle on childcare. Since 1986, Grace Community School has been offering the best childhood education that money can buy. We are the Southwest Florida community’s recognized leader in early childhood education.
We accept children from infants through age 11 (for after school and summer camp), with full-day Pre-K and Kindergarten programs.
Instead of Daycare, Why Not School?
We’re different! Instead of babysitting, our school days are filled with active, engaging, intensive learning; organized games, music instruction, and more.
We are proof that a program can be academically advanced, developmentally appropriate, and fun at the same time.
Bright children graduate from Pre-K at Grace Community School reading at the fifth-grade level. Even average children are reading at the first-grade level, as proven by nationally-recognized standardized tests. This is because our phonics education program is second to none.
At Grace Community School, children learn to read as young as three years of age. Students not only learn the letters but more importantly the sound that goes with each letter, along with a clue word to help them remember. By breaking the alphabet down into smaller sections and providing individualized instruction, children learn quickly and progress through the Reading Circles at their own pace. Because the kids learn at their own pace, they are never pushed too fast or held back; the instruction is always right at the child’s individual level. The result: kids who read! The certificates and books the kids take home keep parents informed of their children’s progress, and the kids love them!
Grace Community School also has advanced math instruction along with a variety of certificates and levels to celebrate our student’s mathematical achievements. Karate, dance, and music classes are available, too! Most importantly, Grace Community School provides daily non-denominational Bible instruction and curriculum-integrated character development study – an uncompromisingly Christian education.
We have Kindergarten, too! You can choose Grace Community’s top-notch learning program, which builds upon what your child has learned during Pre-K, continues the fantastic Bible instruction, and helps your child to achieve ever-higher levels of academic and developmental success. Just think about how advanced your kindergartener will be after graduating from Grace Community’s Pre-K and Kindergarten programs. You can continue giving your child the education and care he or she deserves, including Grace Community School’s reading program. An uncompromising education shouldn’t be unaffordable. We understand how tough things are in this economy, and we want to help. Grace Community School has a variety of ways to help parents via our financial aid program, multi-child discounts, and referral program.
All this, and a whole lot more: free registration, free breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks, free after school transport from some local public schools, free weekly photo program, free yearbook, and free twice-annual musical programs.
Stop By Today!
We invite you to call any of our nine beautiful facilities. We’d love to give you a tour so you can see firsthand how Grace Community School can offer the ultimate in early childhood education for less money than competing daycares. We look forward to serving you and your family!
We are limited in the number of students we can accept, especially at these great prices, so you need to register as soon as possible. Your child is eligible for next year’s pre-K if he or she has turned or will be turning four years old by September 1, 2017.
Some locations also have spots available for the current Pre-K school year. Again time is of the essence.
The Grace Community School American Kenpo Karate Program has been teaching kids martial arts and self-discipline for nearly twenty years. It is our most established special class, and still one of our most popular! Each week our karate instructor, Mr. Pete, comes to every GCS location and does half hour classes for all participating students. Our karate class runs year-round, and while space is limited, we are accepting new students.
One objection we often hear from parents is, “I have enough problems with my child roughhousing and fighting at home without adding karate to the mix!” What we have seen is the exact opposite. What if you could do something to help your child with aggression and improve many other areas of their life, for just $10 per week? You can! The Grace Community School American Kenpo Karate Program builds discipline and self-control. Students who participate in martial arts programs like Grace Community School’s have improved reflexes and focus, among other benefits. Kids need to move, and martial arts are a great outlet to help young bodies get exercise and get rid of pent up energy in a constructive way.
Self-discipline has far more than just physical benefits. Students have a sense of accomplishment when they find themselves mastering their bodies more and more. This builds confidence. Possessing more self-discipline and confidence improves other areas of life like school work and interpersonal relationships. The American Kenpo variety of karate the GCS karate program uses is characterized by an emphasis on self-defense and self-discipline, not attacking. It teaches kids to avoid trouble whenever possible, but to be ready to handle it should it arise. This goes along with Grace Community School’s moral training, including the Golden Rule: do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Much like Grace Community School’s Reading Circles and Math Circles, the Grace Community School American Kenpo Karate Program is in levels. Kids initially earn stars (up to 8 stars), then work their way up through a series of belts. Karate stars are celebrated with certificates. Students earn stripes as they master a particular belt, then celebrate with a ceremony before taking home their belt.
Grace Community School has a whole-life curriculum, combining academics, non-denominational Bible lessons, and fun extracurricular activities: Karate Class, Music Class, Art Class, and Dance Class. Find a FAQ section and more information on our website. Sign up for one class, or all four! We look forward to helping your child have fun and exercise while building self-discipline, confidence, and physical skills.
Many people don’t know that while Grace Community has a great daycare program, we also feature wonderful before and after school care programs as well, for a great price! We welcome kids up through 11 years of age at all of our nine convenient locations in Southwest Florida from Port Charlotte to Naples. In the commuting age, it’s very common to work in one city and live in another. And neither of these places may be close to where your child attends school. With the job market being what it is, you probably don’t have a choice. It’s important to have a safe place for kids to be able to go to after the school day is over. School hours don’t mesh well with the shifts many people are asked to work, and for many people, there are no friends or relatives who can pick up the kids. Let Grace Community help!
Grace Community School provides free transportation to and from many local public schools. You may have seen our fleet of vans driving around town. It’s our job to make sure your child has a fun, safe experience.
Before and After School Care Benefits
We keep the kids busy! Grace Community School before and after school care includes:
help with homework
self and teacher-directed activities
non-denominational Bible time
free afternoon snacks and drinks
After homework is done, the kids have a range of options open to them: computer time, art, games, outdoor play, and more! You can be secure knowing your child is in a safe, healthy, caring place. Work is hard. Finding a great place for your child to be while you work shouldn’t be!
Many of our parents tell us how convenient it is to pick up all their children including the older kids at one place! Students who move from our Pre-K and Kindergarten can continue the Grace Community School Bible Program.

Each year, we at Grace Community School have the bittersweet task of bidding farewell to our extremely successful Pre-K graduates as they go off to kindergarten, often to the various public schools (including charter schools) in our area. We are sad to see them go, but happy that they have done so well in our program.
But this year, we would like you to reconsider. It is because your children have thrived in our school that we would like to make this special offer available to you:
Kindergarten Tuition at Grace Community School for $10 Per Week!
Why go anywhere else? Here’s how that works: before and after school care at a public school costs $55 per week. Lunch is $10 per week. Breakfast, snacks, and drinks are another $10 value. In addition to before and after care from 6:30 to 6:00 pm, Grace Community School offers extras like our weekly photo program and free annual yearbook. That leaves less than $10 out of Grace Community School’s $85 weekly charge going towards tuition!
There are ways to pay even less for your Grace Community School tuition, like our referral program! Refer a student to any one of our nine locations, and you get $100. It’s that easy. You can even do this for multiple families – there is no limit to the number of referrals you can make. Refer two families, that’s $200. Three families, that’s $300! Don’t your friends, family, and coworkers deserve to know about Grace Community School? The Grace Community School financial aid program is yet another way to get a discount on your child’s tuition each week. More information about these programs can be found in your school’s office and here.
This Grace Community School student is graduating kindergarten tomorrow. She is very proud of her reading skills. We are, too! Do you see why College Can Begin at Two is much more than just a slogan?
It is no secret that children who attend the public school don’t learn to read until late elementary school (if then), while our average Pre-K graduate is reading at least at a first-grade level. Tragically, a student who enters the public school coming from Grace Community School risks throwing away their substantial educational advantage. Even more important, the public school will not continue the moral and character development begun at Grace Community School, especially, that achieved through our Bible instruction program. Indeed, much of what is public schools teach will contradict what your child has learned at Grace Community School, as well as at home and church. The entire public school environment is debilitating to children accustomed to a Christian learning environment.
Even spending just one more year at Grace Community School will be an immeasurable blessing to your child and your family. With a price this low for kindergarten, there is no academic, spiritual or even financial benefit to sending your child off to public school. Won’t you stay a little while longer with us?
Your Family at Grace Community School
