Thanks to Grace Community School, summers are now affordable, enjoyable, and safe! Who is Summer Camp For?
Grace Community School now has summer camp programs (subject to availability) for kids ages 1 years through 11 years. We are enrolling now, but space is limited. Once enrollment is full, we will take a wait list.

One of the best parts about the summer is the fun theme weeks we do. Every week has its own fun theme like Pirate Week, Hawaii Week, Carnival Week, and Super Hero Week. Along with the theme weeks we have parties, games, bounce houses, dress-up days, and other special events. A mix of student- and teacher-directed activities and art projects keep kids interested and occupied.
We anticipate a lot of demand for Summer Camp this year, especially the new part-time program, so sign up before we start a wait list! Enrollment forms are available now at all Grace Community School locations.
Beat the heat this summer and bring your summer camper to Grace Community School.
It’s a new year, and that means New Year’s resolutions! While we probably can’t help you with your weight loss goals, we may be able to help with some other stuff. Here’s how can Grace Community School help you be better this year.
Wait, Grace Community School Will Pay Me?
Getting the family finances under control is a critical resolution! We have worked hard to keep our prices as low as possible, including offering extra-low introductory rates for new students. We think being kinder is another great thing to aim for in the new year. Here’s how we can help: the Grace Community School referral program makes helping out friends and coworkers a piece of cake, and it helps you with your financial goals! Refer a family to any Grace Community School location, and once the child has attended for two weeks, you will receive $100 on your account! There is no limit to the number of referrals you can make. That’s right: we will pay you! That’s being kind to both yourself and others. The $100 referral is a great deal, and it’s even better because students at Grace Community School enjoy so much more than basic care!
There’s No Way All of That is Free!
When we list all the things you get at no charge as part of Grace Community School’s programs, people are often skeptical. All of that can’t really be free, can they?
But they are! We’ve even had people call us up and ask, “How do you do it?” The “freebies” offered at Grace Community School include free yearbooks, weekly photo program, twice-yearly school programs, free food, and non-denominational Bible Time.
To Your Health!
Maybe the number one New Year’s resolution people have is to live healthier. You’re on your own with that one, personally, but we can help your kids! All Grace Community School students receive FREE breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks. Our USDA-approved food program does so much! Kids who eat healthy meals are less at risk for getting sick and have more energy to play and learn. These benefits last long past childhood. In addition to tasty, healthy food, Grace Community School students enjoy physical exercise and our beautiful playground areas. We all know the importance of physical activity, and we make it fun for the kids!
New Year, New Fun For Your Kids
Have more fun in the new year! Learn something new! Your kids can do both of those things at the same time with Grace Community School’s special classes.
Grace Community School’s Karate Class helps kids build self-defense skills and discipline while getting exercise in a fun environment with an experienced instructor. Dance Class teaches the basics of ballet and jazz while improving coordination, motor, and social skills with an experienced instructor. Art Class gives your child a fun art experience and project to take home each week. Our students explore instruments and express themselves creatively in Music Class while they learn the basics of reading notes and rhythm.
We are enrolling now in these classes, so ask your location’s office for the sign-up forms!
Do you want to be more organized in the new year? Staying organized is tough for families. Do you have kids in elementary school? With the kids spread out all over the place, the day gets hectic. But wait! Grace Community School has before and after school programs — we pick up from many local public schools (you can find a full list on our location pages here). Instead of making multiple trips to pick up the kids in the afternoon, imagine getting all of your kids in one spot!
The Best Resolution A Parent Can Make
Money, health, fun, and organization are all wonderful thing, but let’s be honest: as parents, we make our kids the number one priority. Here is an excellent New Year’s resolution: “I want to do everything I can to help my kids succeed, now and in the future.” That is something worth doing. What is most important for a child’s future success? Some things stand out. These include having a loving family, support from parents, and something Grace Community School is famous for teaching: reading! We can help with that.
Reading is the foundation for every other academic pursuit. Without fluent literacy, all subjects are hard. Superior reading skills make even challenging academic topics approachable. The benefits extend beyond school, however. Kids who learn to read well and learn to read early do better in life in general and a love of reading provides a lifetime of enjoyment. Grace Community School’s phonetic reading program gives kids the tools they need to succeed.
Along with our advanced math program and the rest of our curriculum, our students participate in an unmatched whole-life education.
We thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you and your children. Remember: we’re more than a school, we’re a family! We hope and pray that you have a blessed and happy new year!

We are limited in the number of students we can accept, especially at these great prices, so you need to register as soon as possible. Your child is eligible for next year’s pre-K if he or she has turned or will be turning four years old by September 1, 2017.
Some locations also have spots available for the current Pre-K school year. Again time is of the essence.
At Grace Community School, the learning AND the fun don’t stop! We have year-round theme weeks that include special days like parties, dress-up days, and special activities. Check out the schedule below to see all the fun coming up.
Our parents have been busy! You voted Grace Community School the best daycare and preschool in three different awards so far this year: Best of Cape Coral, Bonita’s Best, and Best of Southwest Florida.
We are thrilled to see the Southwest Florida community recognize us for our more than 30 years of child care excellence.
If you haven’t already, do check it out. As always, our home on the web is www.gracecommunityschools.com. It’s colorful, friendly, and packed with useful information about our various classes, curriculum, and instructional programs. You can see what the week’s theme is on the home page. Find useful supply lists, the month’s lunch menu, the financial aid form, and other documents on the Downloads page. What’s my favorite part of the new site? The Grace Community School Calendar!
Grace Community School Calendar
Get directly to our calendar by clicking here. You can see at a glance the upcoming theme weeks, parties, special events, photo days, and more. While we do our best to keep our parents informed through our social media (also linked to on our site) and email list, the calendar is a new way to make sure you never miss a thing. You can even add it to your Google Calendar, iPhone, or other calendar software using the instructions on the calendar page. We think you’ll find it a great tool.
P. S. We’re now on Pinterest! Follow us for art project ideas, learning materials, recipes, kids activities, and a bunch more stuff. It’s fun!
Gracie the Whale visited our Bonita Springs, Lehigh Acres, and Skyline locations this week. The kids were SO excited! Gracie will be visiting all of our locations in the upcoming weeks. Watch for her to make an appearance at our upcoming graduation programs, too!
We’re on the last leg of our school year journey, and the spring graduation programs are coming into view. Jungle Jive! is the 2016 Grace Community School spring program, and we are very excited. This show features new music, including the very first public performance of the new Grace Community School Whale song!
We stay busy here. There is always something new coming up: a party, a dress-up day, a new class (like our Art Classes, just started!), a yearbook deadline, a social media contest.
There’s a lot on your plate. Who can remember everything going on? We do our best to keep parents and grandparents informed about fun and/or important news, but we understand that how busy you are. Some of the main ways we keep parents informed are our signs in the office and in the hallway, notes by the sign-in/out computer, and notes on the kids’ papers. But sometimes things still fall by the wayside.
You can like us on Facebook, and follow us on Twitter and Instagram. We are very active on social media. Still, things can get lost in a busy newsfeed. That’s why we have one other way to keep you informed: our email list!
Many of you are already signed up for this, but if you’re not (or you want someone else to get updates, too), it’s easy: click here to access the sign-up form, fill out your information, and click “Subscribe to list.” That’s it! You’ll get an opt-in email from MailChimp. Click the link in the email, and you’re all set.
In addition to more frequent updates as needed, once a month we publish the Grace Community School Email Newsletter that recaps what’s been going on with a roundup of useful links, photos, and videos, and information about cool stuff coming up. We just put out our April issue. (You can find it here if you want to get caught up!) Now you’re ready for what’s coming next at Grace Community School. Any questions? Leave a comment below or send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org We look forward to keeping you updated!
